I don’t do art for the sake of art. I use art as a medium to translate what’s in my minds eye. My paintings do feature many abstract figures which reflects my own autobiographical exploration into my mind, thoughts, feelings and personal life. Through the use of meditation, self-reflection, intense curiosity, passion for science and film-making, i am expressing my affinity to the natural world that developed within me since a very young age.
My artworks explore the themes of the subconscious mind, spirituality, science and the constant search of self-discovery and self-mastery. The idea behind my art revolves around the understanding of the universal balance between the form and the formless in relation to the evolution of the human consciousness. By challenging the pre-conditioned mind governed by limited belief systems, i aim to redefine our individuality by breaking social conventions.
Rana bulbul, an artist who finds solace in creating art films that explore the concept of eternal existence. For Rana, art is not just a means of expression, but a way to capture the essence of our fleeting existence in the vast universe. Through her films, she delves deep into the human psyche, exploring themes of life, death, and the transient nature of our existence. Rana's art serves as a reminder that we are all just mere specks of dust in this vast and infinite universe, but at the same time, we are also a part of something much greater and eternal. Her films not only inspire us to ponder the mysteries of life but also encourage us to embrace our impermanence and find beauty in the fleeting moments of our existence. Rana's art films are a testament to the power of creativity to touch our souls and connect us to something greater than ourselves.
